Matisse - The Cat

DESCRIPTION: Great Masters include Henri Matisse. I love this painting of The Cat. I even put "Matisse" on the left side and "The Cat" on the right for more identification. The bag has wonderful vibrant colors!
The bag has an inside pocket and closes with an art colored ceramic button.
The measurements are 12" X 12" X 2.5".
So unique!!
The ADJUSTABLE strap has a long 25" drop but can easily be shortened.
A hand knit, felted and needle felted wool purse. The art work is created by me with one or two needles--not a machine, which provides me with the ability to create a 3 D effect.
Needle felting is like painting with "roving" wool using sharp barbed needles as your paint brushes. The barbs tangle the wool from the inside attaching it to the fabric. Needle felting provides a fabulous way to add details, texture, and depth to the felt art.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Treat your “Felted Fantasies” purse for what it is—"ART with a purse attached." Spot cleaning is preferable, but if needed, you can soak it in cold water and a non rinse soap. Stuff it with plastic bags for shaping, and let dry. If wool balls appear on the surface of the purse, snip them off just like you would a wool sweater.
